I only looked because of mass layoffs hitting the company recently. My boss likes me and would surely make a counter-offer for me to stay.</p>
<p>Would it be possible to legally get them to sign a contract preventing them from &quot;laying me off&quot; for at least 2 years? Is there such a thing? </p>
<p>I would like to stay, but am fearful of current circumstances with the company.</p>

acidBUR &#8211; The Bush Administration authorized TSA and under TSA all airport security screening (-4 airports) beasme a federal job thus private sector jobs were taken over by governemnt employees adding thousands of new federal employees and billions of dollars in wages as the fed employees are paid almost 3 times what the private security paid.</p>
